"A World of Music, Painting and Stories" Concert
When it comes to Dunhuang, people may think of deserts and the Mogao Grottoes, or the grand palaces and Buddha statues in the Dunhuang murals. If you look closely, you'll find countless interesting and unique small details in each mural that are easily overlooked, such as the exquisite headdresses of the Bodhisattvas, or the floral patterns surrounding the depictions of the Western Paradise. The orchestra conceived the idea of a guided tour concert entitled "A World of Music, Painting and Stories", where these small details are turned into music. Through a "one-song-one-painting" approach, the concert will lead the audience into the multi-dimensional world of Dunhuang: wonderful music, vivid murals, and self-resonant instruments. Through the celestial music in the painted world, modern people can transcend time and space and feel the emotions of the people in the paintings.
"A World of Music, Painting and Stories" is a 1-hour guided tour concert themed around Dunhuang culture, featuring 9 original musical pieces, innovative animation design, multimedia stage effects, and a combination of musical performance and guided tour.
